What Addiction Treatment Programs Does New Wave Offer?
Recovery is not one-size-fits-all, so we built a connected continuum of outpatient programs that meets you where you are and moves with you as you grow stronger. Whether you are stepping down from a higher level of care or reaching out for the first time, there is a place for you here.
All of our programs are outpatient, so you receive real clinical care while staying connected to your home, your work, and your family. We match the level of care to the person, not the other way around, from detox referral through alumni support.
How Do New Wave's Programs Work Together?
Each level connects to the next, and the full continuum can run up to about 9 months, depending on your needs.

We do not provide detox on site. When withdrawal needs medical supervision, we connect you with a trusted Massachusetts partner, then welcome you back when you are stable.

Which level of care is right for me?
If you are not sure where to start, that is completely normal, and it is exactly what the first phone call is for. As a simple guide:
1
Start with PHP
If you need structured, almost-daily support, often right after detox, PHP (Day Treatment) gives you the most care while you build a foundation.
2
Step into IOP
If you are stable enough to balance treatment with work or family, IOP offers flexible day or evening sessions that fit your life.
3
Protect your progress
If you are further along, the Relapse Prevention Program helps you safeguard your recovery and rebuild daily life.
You do not have to figure this out alone. When you call New Wave, you talk to someone in recovery who will listen, ask a few questions, and help you find the right fit, with no pressure and no judgment.
One team, one story, every step
The biggest advantage of our continuum is continuity. You keep the same private therapist as you step down from one level to the next, so you never have to start your story over with a stranger. Holistic care, Reiki, sound bowls, recovery yoga, and mindfulness, is woven into every level, every day, not saved for a single session.
Because the schedule rotates and stays flexible, treatment fits a real life instead of forcing your life around it. Explore our holistic care and evidence-based therapies to see how every level is supported.
